The following benefits are extended to Residents while serving
Salary
1st Year (OGME2) $42,738
2nd Year (OGME3) $43,758
3rd Year (OGME4) $44,778
4th Year (OGME5) $45,798
- Malpractice insurance
- Health insurance allowance
- AOA and MAPOS dues
- Meal allowance while on duty
- Paid HolidaysPersonal days (vacation and/or sick days) - 20 per year which are not cumulative
- Educational Allowance - $1,500 (for contract year) which is not cumulative and may be used for the following with appropriate approval
- Medical textbooks and/or medical journals
- Lab coat allowance
- Purchase of medical equipment
- Medical education course fees
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS provided when offered onsite
- Transportation, lodging and meals for medical education courses

Benefits for Interns/OGME1
The following benefits are extended to Interns while serving an Internship at Northeast Regional Medical Center
Salary - $41,718
- Malpractice insurance
- Health insurance allowance
- AOA and MAOPS dues
- Meal allowance while on duty
- Paid Holidays
- Personal days (vacation and/or sick days) - 10 per year which are not cumulative
- Educational Allowance - $1,000 (for contract year) which is not cumulative and may be used for the following with appropriate approval
- Medical textbooks and/or medical journals
- Lab coat allowance
- Purchase of medical equipment
- Medical education course fees
- Transportation, lodging and meals for medical education courses
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS provided when offered on site
- Temporary license fees paid by Northeast
- Paid days off and fees paid for Part III NBOME examination
